Culture

With “connection” at the heart of what we do for customers, our people make all of the difference in providing exceptional solutions and experiences. Our team inspires a workplace culture that values a sense of community and collaboration that makes working at FordDirect enriching and rewarding.

Our Core Values

Respect:

We value each other, our customers and partners by respecting their suggestions and praising (not criticizing) their work. We will strive to treat others as we expect others to treat us, and empathize with others by putting ourselves in their shoes.

Integrity:

We do the right thing, not the easy thing. We will encourage discussion on the “right thing to do” and be transparent with all the facts before making a decision. We are transparent with all the facts, model ethical behavior and consistently “walk the talk.”

Trustworthiness:

We will always tell the truth and be honest in our dealings with each other, our customers and suppliers. We consistently express ourselves in a credible and transparent manner. We consistently seek all relevant information to make objective decisions in the best interests of the organization.

Accountability:

We will hold ourselves accountable to meet commitments. We will take responsibility for our mistakes and hold ourselves to the same high standards to which we hold others. We have an understanding of our customers’ needs, expectations and deadlines.

Charity Golf Outing

Charitable Giving

FordDirect’s commitment to our community and to philanthropic causes is yet another way we make a difference.

FordDirect Cares is our charitable giving effort that mobilizes our team to support the people and organizations in need.

We provide paid time off for employees to volunteer, donation matching and company-sponsored charitable events. We reach out to the community to donate our time and efforts to local charities like Starfish Family Services, The Greening of Detroit, Make-A-Wish, Team Joseph, The Drew Crew, the American Cancer Society, United Way, the Veterans Affairs (VA) Ann Arbor Healthcare System and more. We look forward to opportunities to show we care.

The 2019 FordDirect Cares Charity Golf Outing on Sept. 9 supported two local charities, Teen HYPE and The Drew Crew. More than 150 golfers and 14 event sponsors came together to enjoy a beautiful day of golf and celebrate the two charities.

About Teen HYPE
Since 2004, Teen HYPE (Helping Youth by Providing Education) has reached more than 35,000 Detroit-area youth through programming that assures every young person reaches their potential. Each year, hundreds of students in dozens of local schools are provided with adolescent health programs that emphasize future-oriented thinking, effective communication, and avoiding risky behaviors.

About The Drew Crew
The Drew Crew is a non-profit organization focused on helping individuals and families that have suffered a spinal cord injury or traumatic brain injury. The charity’s mission is to show that those who have suffered a catastrophic injury such as this can still live a complete and fulfilling life.
